A ruin of a Gothic castle founded in the late 13th century, rebuilt in the Late Gothic style for George of Poděbrady, the Bohemian King. In 1657 mentioned as deserted. The first entrance gate with interesting sculpture decoration and stone carving, the interior rooms of the southern palace house an exposition about the history of the castle, a tower with a view. During the reign of George of Poděbrady the castle was hiding the Czech crown jewels and the State records.
