Originally a Gothic fortress, built on the place of a Benedictine convent originated by Queen Judith in the 12th century and plundered by the Hussites, rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau, adapted in the Baroque and the Classicist style. An English park. Period furnishings in the chateau rooms, an exposition of archaeology, historical clocks, china and pottery, Gothic and Baroque art, the history of spas, a cabinet of coins. In the eastern wing remains of the Romanesque convent building, in the courtyard a crypt of the Romanesque basilica of the Queen Judith. A regional museum of the town Teplice.
