In the museum you will see among other things:
Cífkův statek - a rich estate with a large complex of farm buildings surrounding a spatious yard (with sheds, grange, cellars, stables, barn, well and pigeon loft). The main part of the building originates from the 16th to 17th century; later on many reconstructions took place. The gable comes from the 18th century. On the ground floor there are taproom, scullery, oldfashioned best room, room for maids and the office of the local Mayor. The large rooms are used for exhibitions.
Šubrtův statek- the house was built in the middle of the 19th century where used to be an older building. It is used for different purposes of our Museum.
General (grocery) Store- the room overlooking the village square, which used to be a farmer's retreat home, is used as an exhibition of a country store. The furnishing is from Stehelčeves near Kladno.
Shoemaker's Workshop- Originally it was a farmer´s retreat house. It belongs to the No. 10. There is a simple triformed ground plan (kitchen, hall, pantry). In the farmyard there are pigsties and a goat shed. The last person to live there was a shoemaker with his family. The small kitchen was used as a workshop.
Farmer's Retreat- House Dates back to the 19th century. It belongs to the farmstead No. 11. There is also goat shed, granary and cellar. The interior is from the 19th century.
Parental House of V. B. Třebízský- one of the 3 craftsmen houses with an unusual floor plan (on the ground floor there is only a kitchen with a hall and the bedrooms are on the first floor). In 1904 inhabitants of Třebíz modified the house to a memorial to their fellow countryman, a popular writer of historical novels and stories. A room with a „lid“ ceiling presents the oldest interior in the whole village.
