The golf resort with an 18-hole Masters course par 72 and public course par 54 is located in the village of Véska, 12 km away from Olomouc, and is used as home course by Golf Club Olomouc.
The resort is completely equipped, offers practice ranges, a driving range with covered teeing grounds, a putting green and a chipping green.
The guests may use a parking lot for 60 cars and another reserve lot is available if necessary, furthermore the resort includes a club-room incl. restaurant and terrace, dressing rooms and other necessary facilities. The club room also includes the Pro Shop.
The location of the resort is in the hills near the flatland of Haná and if the visibility is good, it offers splendid views of the surrounding country.
The resort offers the possibility of renting of golf equipment (individual clubs, half sets and full sets), trolleys and golf buggies. Three coaches offer their services there.
The Masters course in Olomouc is a challenge for players of various handicap levels and everybody likes to return there.
The 9-hole public course par 54 is intended not only for the beginners and those interested in getting acquainted with the golf game but also for advanced golfers who intend to practice the short game. Apart from bunkered greens, it features also other gimmicks, teaching the players how to play with precision and adhere to golf etiquette. Vast practice areas with a 300-meter long driving range and putting and chipping areas offer regular practice and development of golf skills.
Championship course has par 72 and its teeing ground lengths vary from 6286 meters (white) to 4904 meters (red).

The course is challenging for players with low HCP from white teeing grounds and, by contrast,
very approachable for medium and high HCP from yellow teeing grounds. The range also features
numerous water hazards and sand bunkers, and from some places, it offers splendid views of the
surrounding country of Haná and the city of Olomouc. The 18-hole course occupies almost 80 ha of land, has four teeing grounds at each hole and large greens of elaborate design.
Admittedly, the Olomouc golf resort is one of the most attractive courses in the Czech Republic. It features eight dogleg holes and “hitters” may use accurately positioned long drives - but your short-cut must be precise, otherwise there are elaborate hazards along the course where even the best player easily get into trouble!
The first nine holes are situated above the village of Véska, and after short refreshment, the players continue to the remaining nine holes near the village of Pohořany.
The most difficult hole is number 14, par 4, 418 meters long. One may say that it is not a very long hole but the contrary is the case. The number 14 is straight, leading up to a flat slope, mostly with headwind where, even after a good drive, one plays into the green from 150 meters uphill. Its double-stage green is protected by a bunker and behind the green is the resort border. Even the best hitters are lucky to play par here.
Conversely, the easiest hole is number 7. It is a straight par four where only a slice into the wood means a problem. Arguably, the most beautiful hole at the Olomouc golf course is hole number 8, par 3, with an island green (featured as the main photo at the Czech Golf Federation
website last year, and voted as the third most beautiful hole in the Czech Republic).
The final takes place at number 18, a long par 5 hole, where a splendid view of the surrounding country opens in front of you after reaching the island green. The Olomouc Championship course is a challenge for players of all handicap levels and everybody likes to return there.
PUBLIC COURSE in the premises of GC Olomouc includes 9 holes in the length varying from 85 to 200 meters, with thoroughly treated greens, protected by sand bunkers similar to those at the “large” course.
The players also encounter water hazards, natural ravine, bio-zone, trees along the route to the hole, and grass cut to various lengths that complicate the separate hits.
The game at this course is interesting and quite difficult even for good golfers with handicap, while for the beginners it is an excellent training to gain handicap 54, and for the rest it is a place where one may spend some time doing sport in the gorgeous open.
All holes are well-marked as well as crossings from a hole to another teeing ground.
