A uniquely intact Renaissance chateau once belonging to Florian Grysperk of Grysbach, built after 1539 on the site of a former mediaeval tower keep by architect Paolo della Stella and Bonifác Wolmut. In the period following the Battle on the White Mountain (1620), the chateau was held by the Cistercian monks from the Plasy monastery. Adapted for utilitarian purposes as a granary. After a fire in 1912, it received only emergency repairs. There is a renovated Renaissance garden with the Bear fountain, brought here from the chateau of Stružná. Unique fortifications consisting of a deep masonry moat fortified with quadrigonal corner canon bastions. These fortifications predate Prague’s by a hundred years.
