The course was designed by architect Hans Georg Erhardt.
Beskydská golfová, a. s. is an operator of Ropice Golf Course that was open in 2004. The golf area provides an 18-hole course, par 72 championship course, suitable for organizing championship tournaments fulfilling the criteria of the Professional Golf Association, training areas for players of all skill levels and clubhouse for visitors.
Ropice Golf Course, situated near Polish and Slovak border, offers water obstacles, lots of bunkers, wavy fairways, uniquely shaped greens, and a panoramic view of the Silesian Beskydy Mountains with Javorovy Peak dominating the landscape.
The hillier and more dramatic first nine holes with the longest par 3 of the course and 2 greens on the 7th hole offer a pleasant lead-in to the game and the jewel of the entire course – the last 3 holes – a par 4 dogleg on the right across the water, a par 3 green on a peninsula, and some difficult swings around a tree on the final par 4 all create a marvelous feeling.
Golf premises in Ropice offer all players unique possibilities to practice short and long games which you can try on a small golf course. Staying in the practice area is not time limited and operation is managed by operation rules and regulations. We kindly ask you to abide with them, failure to do so will be penalized.
Driving Range or training area enables golfers to train strokes in an environment that they will experience at the actual golf course.
In terms of size and the range of services available, the Driving Range is unique one in the Czech Republic. The entire space of the Driving Range has been landscaped; there are six targets i.e. target greens, enabling golfers to monitor the movement of the ball after contact with the ground. Part of the range includes covered driving stations for use in bad weather. The Driving Range has two grassy driving stations, upper and lower, which facilitates simultaneous play for 60 players.
Pitch putt
There are training areas with the capacity of 30 players for training of short strokes - putting green and chipping green - with a sandy bunker.
6-hole Academy
Academy, or so called „small 6-hole golf course“ is specifically designated for beginners who can try the first golf steps here. Every driving range has a tee and a description of a given hole; holes are marked with a flag. There is no need to make a TEE TIME booking for the entry to the Academy. Since it is designated mainly for beginners, there is no need for a „green card“.

Golf Course Operation Hours
Golf Course in Ropice is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday from 10:00 a.m. due to maintenance.
Beskydska golfova, a.s. would like to advise you about a condition for Ropice golf course entrance. All players who have HCP over 36 must be accopmanied by a player with HCP 36 and lower. Thank you for your understanding.
