Originally a Gothic castle from the 13th century, enlarged in the Renaissance style. After the fire in 1802 reconstructed for the Schwarzenberg family, in the mid-19th century rebuilt in the Pseudo-Gothic style. Historical interiors with valuable original equipment and family art collections on two floors of the castle, a knights hall, Empire salons, libraries, a gun corridor, a hunting hall, a chapel and others. An English park. Before the Orlík water damp was filled, Orlík was situated on a rock bulge 60 metres high above the water level of the river Vltava.
